    ram frequency


    hi everyone happy new year to all.my question abt ram ,can we mix the ram frequency like 1GB PC2-6400 DESKTOP RAM MEMORY ddr2 240 pin to 800mhz 2gb or 4gb.kindly if anyone know abt this .thankyou.

    You can but it will all run at the slowest frequency. Not worth it. Dimms should always be exactly the same for best performance.

    thank you for your feed back but i want to increase my system ram. at the moment its 4gb its got standard graphics card. just want to 8gb and 1gb graphic card.thats why i was asking.
