Asus H87M-E motherboard enable 3TB storage?

Recently built a new PC based on the Asus H87M-E MB. Also bought a 3TB WD drive but I cannot get the MB to see the full 3TB, only 2048GB. I understand that I need to enable something in the UEFI but for the life of me cannot find it. Looked in the manual many times but could find no reference to this issue. AHCI is enabled.

Anyone have any ideas how I can enable the full 3TB on my drive?

    Thanks

In addition to the excellent advice above I would suggest that you partition your 3TB drive into at least 2 partitions. The easiest approach may be to do your install using the advice above then partition the drive. This tutorial describes how to go about it using the inbuilt Disk Management:
    Data Partition

The main point here is that you want the OS and installed programs on a partition that can be sensibly imaged. I wouldn't go under 100GB or over 300GB. The rest of the disk is where you store your data or whatever. It's best to do this up front before filling up your disk with data.
