Need a quite media computer - advise?

I'm using a small foxconn computer connected to my TV to run 720p movies with VLC. It's great, handles the 720p well and it's very quiet. It won't do 1080p, so I'm looking for something as quiet and small as the Foxconn.

Any suggestions?

Acer Revo RL70 Nettop PC - Nettops | Ebuyer.com
something like that would do the job.

you could build your own in a Micro ATX platfrom or the newer mini itx, depends how much you want to spend and how much you want to get your hands dirty.

Can do all that and want to spend up to 500.
