    Flash drive no longer recognized

I just plugged a flash drive into my stand-alone DVD player to listen to music.

I came back to comp and it is not recognized.
    Tried all different USB ports.
    Not showing in Dev Mgr.

I thought it might have failed, so went back to my DVD player and it is fine.

Have you tested in another PC?

For some reason, the USB port that it worked in, now does not recognize it.

I used a 3.0 USB port in back and it is now ok.

The funny thing is that the port that it doesn't work in even though it used to, does recognize all other USB devices as well as a different flash drive.
I don't really trust flash drives and only put music on them and keep backups on my internal hdds.

Hi, try backing up (if needed) and re-formatting your USB.
