    W7 64-bit freezes

    Hi,

My 64-bit Samsung laptop freezes completely but stays on. It happens after about 30 min of use. The same happens in safe mode also. It works again for 30 min after a reboot. I ran Malwarebytes and others - no viruses.

Can it be a hardware issue...? RAM or SSD (it has SSD)....? Any free tools to diagnose hardware issues....?

    Thanks,
    BBDS

Is it EXACTLY 30 minutes every time, or is it kind-of, sort-of 30 minutes?

If it is exactly 30 minutes then it could be some program or service that is scheduled to start on a timer.
You could check in Windows Task Scheduler, Power Management, or you could check the settings in your installed programs.
