No i was mistaken I was running a revu unistaller while I was in safe mode cleaning out the very deepest file and trace of any thing slowing my memory down so i could get it as clean as possible before I reinstalled and right when I was done I went to click cancle onthe unistaller and acidentally hit next and the entire window and screen in face mode dissapeared there was nothing but the hunter icon for the unistaller and I thought I erased it like an idiot but no it is there and well, And my pc is back and running like a champ!

Don't mess with partitions unless you know the ramifications of that. w7 doesn't need a "dedicated file" but should run fine with a good install.
Maybe this was just a bad install mate I am thinking.
I was wrong every thing is fine i just made a tiny mistake right when i was leaving safe mode that made every thing in the screen disappear but I have checked and it is all well and good. There were some thing done that made big effect to my event viewer and that was what was causing so many issues and it has now been fixed and my PC is running like a champ! The only thing that I am wanting to do at the moment is partition my hard drive so that I can have a drive dedicated to windows os only and the other disk for the heavier flood of traffic. The only thing is I have never done it and I know it needs to be done right so I am hoping to read up on it and take suggestions so that I feel confident that it is the right choice and that it would improve performance not to mention organization. So yea your directions last night were a tremendous help thank you!

I would suggest mate a SSD for the OS boot and a separate drive for the gear but that is just what I would do.

Another thing you can try is this.

If you have only one disk using a partition will offer no advantages.
