Windows 7: HTPC doesn't see my external USB3 HDD

Still somewhat of an issue. The channel guide works fine but I still don't get the channels I pay for. They work on my cable box in the other room.

BSOD when connecting USB3 external hdd
BSOD when connecting USB3 external hdd, the BSOD reported nusb3xhc.sys as the cause with an IRQ issue. Tried downloading updated driver from Intel and installing....rebooted & connected USB3 hdd and it BSOD with the same error :-( BSOD file attached. If anyone could help that would be great!
