How to remove Dell inspiron n4110 BIOS password

    Hi all,

My little brother has gave that Dell inspiron n4110 BIOS a password and now he has forgot it. I know I can remove that password by opening the laptop but I don't want to open it. I can access to the OS which is Windows 7 and also can reinstall OSs by pressing F12 key, but when I want to go into the BIOS setup (which I should press the F2 key for that) that password is required. I've heard there are some codes removing that but I'm not sure is it real or not.
    Any solution for that laptop?

Dell have recently added additional security to some of their laptop range - if you have somehow triggered this security you will have to contact Dell, and supply them with full details of the laptop, including serial and reference and full proof of purchase - they can then remove the password free of charge

Opening the laptop will not work, I have tried on my own Dell. None of the codes found online work either. As Barman58 said, Dell can help you. You will need your Service code, where an when purchased and by whom. They can then create a code which takes a special key sequence to enter.

@Barman58: I live in Iran and purchased it here so I can't contact to Dell because of many reasons. The only way I think I have is to fix it here by myself and by hope of a solution that you give me guys:)

@Britton30: As I said, we purchased it in my locale from an ordinary store. We don't have any service code. There should be another way, not?

This system is proprietary to DELL and is hard coded into the Motherboard during manufacture, only Dell technicians have access to the tools to work with this system, if you cannot contact Dell directly then your only option would be the actual supplier, they should have the needed contacts for Dell

your meaning about "actual supplier" is that I should separate the supply power or battery from the laptop? Or what another way?

Actual supplier is the place that you actually purchased the system from

That place is a second hand shop and I don't know the first person who has bought that laptop. And further more, if I would be the first person that has bought that laptop even in this case also I couldn't call the Dell. For example calling to USA may cause risks to us. I mean when someone calls to US that person may be wanted by police!

I understand that. It is done completely online with the Dell Support people. Dell Support - Official Site

You may have to do a Google Search for Dell Support for your country.
