usb keep restarting after plug to ac adapter

hi all i'm new in here and i want to ask why when i plug my ac adaptor all of usb port seems restarting, when i plug my android to usb port the phone keep reconnecting to the laptop and the hard disk make strange noise like when the laptop start, but after i unplug the ac adaptor all of the problem seems disappear, i think there is something wrong in the driver because i use win 7 in a win 8 laptop that all of the driver is only supported win 8 OS, can anyone at least give me a way to check if the driver is wrong or faulty?

When you plug the AC in, the PC gets an interrupt to which it reacts. And the noise is probably coming from your optical drive which is also on a USB port.

F:)or how long period you have been using this Ac adapter. may be it got fried if it is under warranty period then exchange it or not then buy the new one i think their is problem with the Adapter only, check out the online stores like Amazon, Sfcable, newegg etc.. to buy a new one..... :)

@johnkarter87: i think there is nothing wrong with the adapter, i just bought it few days ago and i've try another os and nothing wrong when i plug my laptop to AC supply.

@maxie: i've download it from the asus official website, yes i have 1 usb3 port

@whs: i'm pretty sure the noise is coming from harddisk because when the laptop start making that noise the hdd lamp just off for few second

That is very unlikely. But you are closer to the action.

i am really sorry for the misinformation, it seems whs was right about the ODD i think the odd was kinda resetting once a while and ya at few days ago i played some game, when the ODD start making noise the game sound just broken or dead for half a second, and few days ago i've trying to reinstall the driver by downloading it straight from intel website for few hours i'ts works pretty well but then after few restarting the usb problem goes back again i don't know what to do.
