Attention photographers! Sigma USB dock error.

Hi again and I have need of a PC guru's help!

I have just purchased a Sigma 24-105mm Lens (Canon fit). I also purchased the Sigma dock that is used for various adjustments and firmware updates on the new Sigma lenses.

I have installed the dock software and followed the instructions but the dock fails to recognize that the lens is attached to the dock, the dock is correctly attached to the lens. I have trawled the web and there is a similar error for a user who was using something called USB overdrive but the workaround for that is of no help to me.

Is there by chance anyone who has had or has heard of this problem as I am flummoxed .

TYIA

Andy

Further to my original post, when I check on devices the Sigma USB dock is only recognized as a Generic USB hub. I have downloaded the correct software but am still stuck

It transpired that Sigma needed to do a minor software update and now all is working as intended.
