I have a HP G60 laptop, and after doing a clean install of Windows 7, my Synaptics touchpad wasn't always working, I tried to update the
driver by going through Device Manager and all that, but it just told me my
driver was already up-to-date. I went online to the Synaptics site, and as I'd suspected, there had been a few
driver version updates since my current one. After downloading and installing the newest version of the driver, I discovered that while my scrolling problem was fixed, I could no longer disable my touchpad by pressing the dedicated button on my laptop. If anyone can help me regain function of this button that'd be awesome. Thanks.
