Ghost Keyboard

Have tried both a PS2 and a USB keyboards, both doing or actually the same.

Some facts:

1. Microsolf multimedia 1.0A PS2 and Raygo USB, at start up both do not allow typing of anything
2. Both seen in Device Manager, with up to date driver and "working properly"
3. Have restarted after uninstalling and they reload perfectly

Driving me crazy ....... They are being blocked somehow

Thanks for any suggestions

What is the problem exactly?

Do they not function at all during boot or when Windows loads?

Is this something that has just occurred?

Just occurred after deleting Nod32 and then installing AVG and Malwarebytes. Now none of the keys work at any time, somehow both the PS2 and the USB keyboards are being blocked even though the Device Manage show as properly working, but neither function.

Are you able to get into safe mode or the BIOS?

Can get into Safe Mode but with same results. PCcopter thanks for your time, but I'm going the route of a new install. I have tried 23 "solutions" no luck, just too time consuming. Take care and have a good day.

Please help, my cat sat on my keyboard this morning and turned something on - it was a Flash keys option I think (or Filter Keys?) - couldn't really see around her. I now have noises each time I press a key and am not able to repeat keys easily - only one stroke per key is allowed at a...

Cpu ghost spikes
Okay so for a while now (maybe for as long as i've had it) my computer has some insane Cpu spikes in the task manager. I took my PC to a profesional and he told me it was unusual. When I brought the computer in it was cool. So we don't believe it to be a heating problem. All the %'s in the taks...

Keyboard - Shift & Alt keys stopped working for keyboard shortcuts
As I wrote in the title, my Shift and Alt keys stopped working for keyboard shortcuts. However, the Shift key still works when capitalizing letters. I've been dealing with this problem off/on for the past two weeks and haven't been able to figure it out. I've gone into Ease of Access features...

Last night I did a clean install of 7 pro 64bit. I installed to drive C: a 150 GB WD Raptor. I then wanted to reinstall office, visual basic, etc... but when I navigate to my 1 TB HD and open the Microsoft folder where I save all my Microsoft software the folder is empty. However when I view the...
