The term "slow" is very subjective; slow compared to what?

Almost freezing ... for quite a while ... then it finishes .

Normally it runs straight to finish ... no stopping or freezing .

I forgot to mention that I format the ubs flash drive to NTFS rather Fat32 .. does it matter ?

I don't know if the file system format has any effect, but it wouldn't hurt to try using Fat32: I do know I don't have that problem and all of my flash drives are Fat32 for what it's worth.
