    PNY USB 14 GB thumb drive slow to access


    When I plug in my 14 GB PNY thumb drive it takes 1:05.43 to show in my computer listing. Windows 7 chimes that its been plugged in right away. Other thumb drives take around the 2 sec mark. As does this PNY drive in any other computer that I test it in. I have tried formatting it with the HP USB formatting tool. No change.

    System Specs are updated. I thought it was the Belkin Hub that is on my desktop that I use most, though I get the same results with any other USB port that I try. It doesn't show up as a removable device, and has no autoplay in right click menus. Shows up as SMI USB DISK DEVICE while the San Disk Shows as SanDisk Ultra USB Device. Going to use the snipping tool to show this.

    I did have this PNY device be non responsive and had to format and Named it PNY 14 GB.
