Disk Shrinking problem
Hi
I have a HP Pro 3400 series PC with Windows 7 32 bit, I recently executed a shrink volume using diskmgmt.exe on my C: drive which was at 148.95GB. I selected the shrink option on C: drive which allowed me to shrink about 30GB an proceeded, after that I wasn't really paying any attention to the process when all of a sudden the process ends and I get this message from Virtual Disk Manager "Access denied". Now I've got only 114.95GB & the 30GB raw partition is nowhere to be found.
I AM using the administrator account and I've tried AOMEI Partition Assistant, EaseUS Partition Master, HDAT2 to find the missing 30GB RAW partition but still I am unable to locate it.
I'm kinda leaning towards the Winmagic SecureDoc software that's causing this issue but I'm not sure if it is causing the problem.
The bottom line is I need to find that 30 GB raw partition so I can either extend/expand it back to 148 GB or create a new partition.
Please Help
