    Can you get wireless speakers?

Is it possible to buy wireless speakers that I can put hanging in the corner of my room? And the aux device a plug in my phone or tv etc and it transmits the audio to the speakers? Or perhaps this is pretty much how bluetooth speakers work? Please enlighten me.

    Thanks

Keep in mind even wireless speakers will still need power, either from the mains or from batteries. That said, there is a large variety available, from simple Bluetooth speakers to 5.1 and 7.1 systems that use their own transmitters and receivers. Just do a search on the website of any vendors that serve your area for wireless speakers. If possible, it would be best to listen to the speakers in a showroom before buying them. Otherwise, make sure they are returnable before buying them in case they do not sound as good as you would like.

Provided your TV has a headphone jack, you could use one of these Britelink-Bluetooth-Transmitter to transmit to a Bluetooth speaker.

Which BT speaker you get depends on how much you want to spend.

There is one other thing to consider when buying auxiliary speakers. I purchased one that has a wire connected to the TV and the lips and sound are off. With wireless I would think that there would be a greater chance of that happening. I did find a device that plugs in between the TV and speaker that allows the lips and voice to be adjusted so they are the same. The device was quite pricey.
