    Hard drive issue


    Okay guys, so I have been having slow reboot times even after a clean install. Also my wei would hang on disc performance. So I watched during the wei run and noticed disk 2 showing 100 percent constant. I looked in disc management it showed as raw. I deleted the volume and re formatted, still same two issues. I removed the disc, and low and behold got back to a faster reboot and can run wei.

    What do you think, can I try reformatting again, running check disc on it and save it maybe?

    Hi Doug .. It does not look good .. You can try check disc or your hard drive diagnostic software

    Yep, it failed hd diag test. Another piece bites the dust

    Sorry mate .. Strange thing in all the years i have been computing .. Have had every thing fail motherboards power supply's graphics monitor .. But have never had a failed hard drive ..
