    Problems connecting using westinghouse hd tv monitor


    Hello I have a Westinghouse LCD-TV with HDMI output model SK-19H210S. Im trying to connect it to my copumter via HDMI but my computer never sees it. I know the monitor works because i used the vga port to connect to my old laptop running Windows Xp. Any helpwould be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Open Control Panel, select Devices & Printers & when that opens, you will see Add a Device up in the left hand top corner, click on that & Windows will do a search for new devices. Hopefully that will find your TV monitor.
    Make sure you have it properly connected first.

Hi all, I have an AOC 936swa LCD monitor and want to try and run my PS3 through it. The input into the monitor is via D-Sub and USB. I made the schoolboy error of thinking it was a DVI and buying an HDMI to DVI cable...face-to-palm moment there! Is there an HDMI to D-Sub cable? I can't...
I just got my first graphics card and i have to ask a really nooby question... The card didn't come with a dvi vga adapter and do i need one to use the graphics card with the monitor?
