How to keep ext4 drives mounted w/Ext2Fsd from sleeping/idling?

I have 3 drives mounted with Ext2Fsd, they all work fine no issues. The problem is that they keep idling/going to sleep quite shortly after I've accessed them, and then when I need to access them again they have to wake up (hear the spin/revving up) and entire PC freezes while waiting for them to awake.

Example, I use them as the libraries for my XBMC. I will watch something (reading video file off one of the drives) and pause at say 8:00pm. If I come back at say 8:13pm or something the drive has gone idle and I need to wait again while it wakes back up. (Drives are not in RAID/LVM or anything, just individual drives assigned to F, G and H.)

So how can I keep them awake and prevent them from idling? It's pretty irritating. Thanks for any help!

I am a little unsure of what these drives are if your meaning DvD drives that reads discs and you have 3 of them and they are crashing it could be your PSU not giving enough power, is that what you are talking about DvD drives??
