Windows 7: WD hdd in hot swap bay problem.

As I previously mentioned, I have NO problems with any of my other hdds in the dock.

WD is insistent that this hdd is NOT compatible with the bay.

I find it hard to believe that a WD Green isn't compatible with the swap bay.

Even though other drives work in the bay, we still need to rule out some things. Again, is the SATA port the swap bay is connected to set for Hot Swapping?

Ok, can you temporarily swap the port you used with the Green when you installed it in the computer with the port the swap bay uses?

I appreciate your concern, but I'm not going any further with this.

I have plenty of room in my PC and installed it there.

Since all my other hdds work in the bay, that's all I need.
