    dv6-1361sb Touch Sensitive Panel

So I have a hp pavilion dv6-1361sb and had it for about 4-5 years. Recently I have had a problem with my laptop that I hope you guys can help me with. My Touch Sensitive Panel (Wifi, Mute and Volume Control) are not working. It seems like that it has been disable or something. I tried doing the plugging out the battery and doing a dry-startup thing. It did not work. I also formatted the hard drive and reinstalled the windows. It seem to help for a little bit until windows does an update and disable it. any thoughts Thanks?

Hello and welcome cedeic now what did you install Windows with?? Did you do a factory default or slip in a new OEM or retail version?

Now you could do mate is to do a system restore and then set the updates to what I have in my pic and load the updates in batches until the one that is causing problems shows itself that means another system restore to just before it was installed and when it comes up just right click on it and "Hide" that update then carry on updating.

Cediec mate you might have to update the drivers from the HP site as I personally don't like the Windows feature.

However I looked for the HP drivers but it seems that the machine being an older model the drivers are not available We were unable to determine your specific product | HP® Support
This problem has cropped up before when I have been trying to help out and sorry mate but I can't help out not being able to access them.

The only thing I can suggest is to either pass this over to some of the other s if you like or you contact HP direct but I wouldn't be holding my breath there either
