Syncmaster 305T, Geforce GTX 670 and Win7 64bits Pro Big Issue

    Hello everybody,
Don't know if i post in the right section , could be in device, driver or graphic card section i guess...
I bought and old samsung syncmaster 305T 30inches monitor who works for sure.
I plug it on my graphic card with a Dvi-D dual link cable ( works also...)
And i have ...nothing ....black screen ...
    My graphic card works also...
What's the problem... the monitor is too old ???
I have to install a driver for the monitor ????
    I am totally confused...
    Any ideas ??
    Thanks
    S.

Sparklehorse, welcome to the Seven Forums.

Have you made sure that you are connected to the correct DVI port on the video card? It should have two, with only one of them being dual link.

U're right and yes i did that... it doesn't works...
I usually have two 19inches 4/3 1280x1024 monitors on this new PC...
The strange thing is that the 305T monitor works fine on my 10 years old PC ( Xp pro, on a dvi port but at a low resolution...)
and is recognized as a samsung syncmaster monitor in the Nvidia control panel but is not recognized on my one year PC !!!
Starting to think it comes from my graphic card, but sure of nothing of course....

Exact make (EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, etc.) and model of your video card would help.
