If MS were smart, they would make that Windows to go available for everyone. Now we resort to Linux to go and eventually we will like that so much that we do not need Windows any more.

I just got a new 16GB SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 flash drive that says Local disk instead of Removable Disk, which all the other USB flash drives do.
I did uninstall its driver, replugged and it still shows as Local Disk.
