After playing with the switch for some time, I think I can of managed to reset it, because now my internet works.

Thank you all for the help you've been :)

I have no idea how I fixed it, but I did reset the switch multiple times, and unplugged everything repeatedly, and probably accidentally plugged some cords into different ports, and made sure all of the connections with the cords were good.

Cool, you may not have had one RJ-45 plugged in all the way.

Yeah, that's kind of what I thought.

So, my computer works, but my roommate's now doesn't xD
I'll just swap around the cords in the switch though, and let you guys know if I need more help :)

Ok, I'm fairly certain the issue is with my ethernet switch, as when I passed a cord directly from my new router new directly to the cord going all the way to my office (usually it goes router -> switch -> cord to whatever room, but I bypassed the switch with router -> cord to whatever room).

    I'll probably replace it later.

Again, thank you all for your help.
