What Are The Bolton D4 Chipset For?

Hello,
I recently went in to my bios and went to system browser to view the motherboard I hovered over one of the chipsets and it says it's the "Bolton D4 Chipset" what exactly does this chip do?
Done a google search and found nothing

My Board: Asrock fm2a88x

Google is your friend it has much info on the AMD Bolton chipset, which is the CPU chipset.

I keep seeing that the X79 chipset for the soon-to-be-released SandyBridge E processors won't have USB 3.0, but I see motherboard manufacturers with specs that mention USB 3.0. USB 3.0 support is out now for some of the current motherboards, right? What am I missing? Does Windows 7 care one...

Why do I have chipset drivers when I don't use an nvidia chipset?
