    G500 done

So my mouse died. It started acting weird, missing clicks or double reading clicking a few months back. I tried this fix

It worked for awhile but trouble came back. I am sure I abused it hitting the trigger to hard in gaming firefights so after about three years of use it's getting circular filed.

What mouse should I get next?

Do the have them with weights, I like the heavy feel.

Also looking at this one, don't think it has weights though

well .... nope , but i believe there are some control series of mouse pad that help with what u wanted , and since all E-blue products are huge , but light , so i figure there will be huge free space in-side .... i saw a techie techie guy in that video , im sure u can totally find a way through that problem :)

Doug. I think that guy is full of it. I have 2 G500's and have had one for about 3 or 4 years and have shot thousands of bad guys with them and have never had a problem. I also have a Gigabyte GM-M6800. I only used it for a short while and considering how cheap it is, I was surprised at how well it worked. I keep it for a backup now. Let me know what you decide, but I think I would probably stick with Logitech.

Thanks Steve. I was trying to remember when I picked up the mouse. I asked the wife and I got it and we think it was four years ago. I have used it pretty hard so I don't think it was defective. I'm still researching before picking another one. The Gigabyte one you mentioned is one of my candidates.

if you want a huge heavy mouse get a R.A.T 5 or better. I have the 9, fully adjustable, removable weights and is heavy from its all metal construction.

Dude, I have absolutely no experience with it, But it seems to get fairly good reviews, most importantly in the 1-0 eggs. It sounds like it could be good, but takes a lot of getting used to. That's not really a bad thing though. But, I think you did me in. You started a thread about your G500 going bad and I think that made my G510 start going. Darn you. But, have no fear, I have another one as a spare. Thankfully, I get fussed at about the mess, but I'm not sure there is anything for a computer I don't have a spare of. LOL.
