There were several of you who commented that Modular was really good. I must agree. It makes things so much easier. Hopefully I won't buy a PSU for a long time, but I will definitely go modular when I do.

Same here. I made the mistake of not doing so on my second build. Will prob upgrade my psu next year or so, and go modular then.

A little trick on some of the larger connection that are very tight.
Spray a little silicone on a cloth and wipe down the out side of the male connector.
Not on the wire ends just the black connector. It will help it to slide in.
Those connectors do fit tight and that is good.

It also help with molex connectors which can be very hard to seat the connection.
Those 24 pin connections can be a bear to seat; the four pin Molex, not so much unless you get one with fat, blunt male pins. I will certainly keep the silicone spray in mind (not to mention I need to remember to get some). Thanks for the brilliant tip.

There is NO way I will ever use even semi-modular ever again. It's fully modular for the win!

    Like I have posted before.
Once you go full Modular you never go back to the old way.

Hum good tip Jack I really dislike those wretched Molex things and I might even try a very thin smear of Vaseline on them although I think the problem is the lining up of the pins and sockets as most I see are so sloppy in the plug fitting.

OH and Mack nice job :)

Sometimes all it takes is 3 brain cells to come up with a revolutionary and easy tip Jack. It is a very good one.
