DRAGON WAR ELE-G3 Dragunov Gaming Laser Mouse DRIVER ERROR

I first bought the dragon war astra, and it would not install on any of my 4 usb ports. I tinkered with it in the device manager, and it's listed in the other devices. Tried updating, but I always get an error message

Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device

windows found driver software for your device but encountered a problem while attempting to install it.

    USB input device
    Access is denied.

I got frustrated and traded it the next day for a new one, the Dragunov model. But I still get the same message. Sometimes it asks for the driver. I tried going to system repair f8, only then did it work. But after restoring and going back to normal boot, it stopped again. I've tried everything, and even downloaded the X-mouse button control, but still nothing is working.

the led light are on, but that's about it. Can somebody please help? Dragon war doesn't seem to have a help forum, and it's facebook page is just riddled with complaints.

almost all keyboard and mice use the default windows driver or a similar variant.
only those with macros and adjustment features require their own driver/software, but even then the usual features of both will work until the driver/software is installed.

what does that mean for you.. well I think this is just a compatability issue with your hardware and its driver. if their website doesnt offer a specific driver to download then theres not much you can do.

you know the mouse works as youve had it working, and I bet if you boot into safe mode it will work a treat then!

basically something somewhere is conflicting. you could try updating your motherboards USB port drivers from the manufacturer of your mobos website and see if that addresses things.

other than that you could post us up your eventviewer file and see if that enlightens the cause of the issue, which may come around tona trial and error of removing services and programs.

I spent 2 years battling compatability issues with my Cyborg v5 keyboard.. it hardley ever worked first time.. I eventually decided the £100 I paid for it wasnt worth the hastle I was going through and got something better! not a issue since.
As the range of mouse you have isnt well branded or even well cared for in terms of aftermarket support id throw in the towel, return it and try a better know brand! cant loose with corsair!!
