    16gb sdcard unable to remove readyboost !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


    hi, does anyone know how to remove readyboost?

    windows thinks this is a 5.5mb sdcard and hence not letting me remove ready boost. it was working till i remove the card without safely unmounting it first. i got this card just today, class 10 card arrhhh...

    here is another post like mine, it's hard to find. Help remove write-protection from USB drive (ReadyBoost) - Microsoft Community

    Ok MBN - safely eject the card so you know you have the right one and then replace it make sure you have the rigth one again (you will know because it will reappear) and just format it mate.

    PS I am assuming it is only being used for Readyboost which to me is a waste of time.
