Bootable USB, how to return to default

Hi there.
I created a bootable windows 7 installation usb and i want to know how to return it to being just a basic data storage device.

Would a full format or a quick format suffice or just delete all the windows files and its good to go?

I had to run boot/bootsect.exe /nt60 to get it as a bootable device < not sure if that permanently changes anything?

Thank you for any replies.

Just run a quick format on it and you should be good.

I didn't have to do any of that when creating bootable USBs, using the Windows 7 DVD/USB Download tool does it all in a couple of clicks. Is that the method you used?

Make bootable ISO from bootable USB Drive
I have a USB drive with Ophcrack and a rainbow table in it. I can boot from it. I want to make an ISO from it with the table still installed. I'm trying to use it on VMware. I've tried using PowerISO by opening the files and saving them as an ISO. It wouldn't boot.
