Can't Install Canon Image Class MF4770n Device

    Hi there,

I just got a Canon Image Class MF4770n Device and am unable to instal it. It does not show up. I've installed the drivers from the CD and from the canon site too.

    Please help.

    Thanks

Are you using this wireless? or USB connected?

Do you get any indications at all either on the unit or the PC? Have you tried a different USB cable, and a different USB port on the PC.

I tried a different port with no result. Haven't tried a different cable.

Try another cable, to get the obvious out of the way.

Do you have another PC, or a friends PC that you can try the install on that, to see? Or if you have a wireless router, try installing it as a wireless device, with the install instructions, and see if that works.

Thanks, I'll get back after either trying with another PC and by getting another cable. I'm not sure how to instal it as a wireless device.

The installation instructions that come with it, or the install program should help you with that.

I just installed a new HP all in one and it had an option in the install program to either install wireless or USB.
