    Windows XP does not show more than 2GB

    I have a dell optiplex 745 ultra small form factor, i upgraded the memory to be 4GB, BUT the computer didnot accept the memory at first , only accepted 2GB at once , and then it accepted the 4GB memory and showed in the bios 4GB , under computer proprieties it shows only 1.9GB and in bios 4GB ,
    i would like to know how i use the full memory at least 3GB

    If im right in thinking,

    The Ram limits are as follows;

    32Bit - 2GB
    64Bit- 2GB+
    I can remember ready somewhere that the ram is still in use however you cant see it in the specs.

    Im not to sure if im accurate on this one, however im sure someone will come and correct me.
