Accidently left laptop in checked baggage

Last week before I came to Korea, I put my laptop in one of my bags thinking it is the carry on one I have. I didn't notice that it was not in there until I went through TSA. Now after a few days, I finally found it in one of my bags and luckily, there was no damage on the outside of the laptop. Do you guys think that it is fine in the inside since the outside is not damaged too, or will I have to turn it on and find out? I will have to get an adapter for the outlet since it is a different shape, but the AC adapter supports 100-240V.

It should be fine, those baggage handlers are very gentle, ya right. I hope it`s ok

Are you being sarcastic or is that true? I thought they throw it around everywhere.

Have you ever watched the baggage handlers put the luggage on the carts then onto the conveyors ?

    But I`m sure it`s fine

Well, everything else in the bag was intact, but next time, I guess I should mark all bags as fragile just in case.

But... but... you can't use Internet unless it is a special plane.

Oh. You must have a beast of a laptop now. Since we are getting off topic, I think this thread is solved.

Are you kidding? You might as well paint a target on it. It's better to just pack things with the assumption that it will be handled by a grumpy 500 pound drunken gorilla on 'roids with an attitude problem.
