Stuttering problem Netflix / Hulu / Youtube etc

...but not when watching blurays and files from HDD.

    AMD A6-5400K, Rosewill FBM-01 - Staci Build - jonathantrillo's Saved Part List - PCPartPicker

Getting to the end of my tether with this problem.

As title says, I've tried reformatting, I've tried adding a graphics card! None of this makes no difference. It really only seems to be when streaming HD, it's not too bad on youtube, but noticeable. Very bad on hulu.

Internet speed is 30mb/sec so no problems there. All the drivers are up to date.

It's been around 4-5 months now and I've barely been able to use this HTPC.

This is a custom PC so maybe something is wrong with settings regarding parts working together?

    its could be something simple!
have you tried changing your ethernet cable?

or if your using wireless it could be your router. I had a cheap crappy on from my isp which was not capable of streaming media properly, I swapped it out for a 5ghz netgear one and had no issues since.

do you have an aftermarket firewall? or a stupidly over protective virus scanner? if so disable these and give it a try.

do you get reliable download speeds? I know you say you get 30mb/s but do you get like decent speeds on large files? id expect at least 10mbps,if your getting kbps then you have an issue!!

    Thanks for the reply!

Internet speeds are fine and consistent. I tried it with a wireless network adapter too and I have the same issue. Other PCs and devices work fine that are connected to the router.

Firewall (windows) has been disabled. No virus software.

Files tend to download at 4mB/sec.
