Having a REALLY weird mouse issue.

Alright this is going to be a bit long, so bear with me here.

I have a logitech g-300 gaming mouse, it was working fine, now? right clicking barely works, and left click tends to double click no matter what I do, left click and dragging is pretty much impossible, but this is not the main issue I am having.

The issue is, even after uninstalling the logitech drivers, uninstalling the logitech gaming software, manually deleting anything logitech related in the registry or otherwise, I am unable to get any mouse to work on my system except for the logitech g-300. The pc reconizes the mouse, it says its installed correctly but the mouse just does not work, can't left click, right click, or even move the cursor anywhere, middle mouse is dead too, I have tried 3 diffrent non-logitech mice and none of them seem to work, I even tried them on my other pc and the mice do work themselves so its not a problem with the mouse hardware itself.

Any idea what the hell I can do to fix this? I do have a spare logitech mouse but its busted, but the pc does reconize that one and I can move the cursor thou its left click is busted beyond repair its OLLLD lol.

This is really getting to me because there is no reason why I can't get any other mouse to work except a logitech one. Any help would be apprecated. Also please don't tell me to reformat my pc, there has to be another solution.

sounds like your usb stack is messed up now since you uninstalled more than your mouse probably, there is a way to reset it but I'm unsure what it is but i would look that up. also can you post a screenshot of your device manager usb devices if possible please. the G300 have the same issues on another pc?

Since you were deleting keys in the registry before these new problems started you should now do a Windows System File scan.

Start > type(search): cmd > right click on cmd.exe > choose: "Run as Administrator" >
in the DOS box that opens type : sfc /scannow > then press ENTER

Actually the issue was there before I started removing any logitech entries in registry, but going to do the scan anyway because ya never know.

Sometimes you have to wait awhile, if they come back at all. Some OP's, if they find their answer somewhere else, don't bother to post back.

Still got the issue, fix for now is just to use a logitech mouse, but whenever I use any non-logitech mouse, windows installs it fine, however, even after a shut down/restart and it being installed fine according to device manager, the mouse cursor refuses to move. Anything else I have that uses USB works fine, it just seems to be an issue with the mouse only. Its kinda blwing my mind how windows reconizes all these mice i've tried, says they are installed fine, but movign said mouse doesn't move the cursor, nor do any of the buttons work, i've tried like 4 mice of all diffrent brands that I know work fine (I tested them on my other pc). I've never come across an issue like this.

What could be causing it to install the mouse fine (using generic windows driver every mouse is set to use fine pretty much), windows reconizes its there, but the cursor doesn't move nor do any of the buttons on it work at all. If windows says its there and reconizes it, i'd figure it should work, but nope.

The first thing that comes to mind is a conflict caused by the logitech driver(s).
Have you tried uninstalling everything related to the gaming mouse drivers (uninstall the mouse, software, files & folders)?
