Expansion Slot Screws
What size are the screws for PC expansion slots? Are they 6-32 x 1/4"?
The Link below might be of some help

Most cases use 6-32 x 3/16" screws to secure PCI covers although 6-32 x 1/4" will also work. Thumbscrews that have a 6-32 thread will also work. Some cases, most notably Lian-Li, use screws with a M3 thread, probably M3x5.
Glad I could help. When trying the thumbscrews, make sure they fit easily but not loosely, to make sure they are the correct size. If you have to force them, they are too large and if they wobble, they are too small. 6-32 and M3 are very close to being the same size. For reference, 3.5" HDDs use 6-32 screws; 2.5" drives and ODDs (optical disk drives) use M3 (weird, that).
Do you have one screw that does fit your slot cover screw holes? If so, see if it will fit in a 3.5" HDD or if it will fit in a 2.5" drive or an ODD. That will tell you what size you need. Plan B would be to take the screw down to your friendly neighborhood hardware store or home center and play show and tell (hint: if the store doesn't have a size and thread gauge, test the screw on nuts to determine the size rather than trying to eyeball it).
