HP G62-a44SA no boot with power led blinking

    Hi all,
Got HP G62-a44SA, unable to boot. No any signs of life at all. have striped everything down so its just mobo and screen. When power cable pluged in and no battery is installed I have a power button led blinking. When same situation but with battery then led next to power cable is blinking 3 times after I press power button.
Any help how to fix it?

I couldn't find the information for your laptop directly on the web, but I did find something that explains HP power led blinking:

It sounds like either your adapter isn't providing enough power, or the internal voltage regulator inside the laptop is not functioning properly. I would take it to a service center or repair shop and have it tested. If it is the regulator inside the laptop, it's not something that you can fix.

In the meantime, do you have access to another power adapter that you can try to rule that out?

    Thanks for reply.
I have got second HP Laptop and AC adapter works fine on second one. Both laptops got same ac adapter voltage chart. My second laptop is HP DV6-2020SA and its with damaged screen, so now I think best option for me is simply to swap screen from first laptop where problem with power to second one.
