Swapping the C: and D: in Win 8

    Hello

I am new to this forum
    And I use Win 8

I don't know that I am allowed to post here or not

I have Win 7 Professional and Win 8 in my Laptop Toshiba Satellite C850D-M5010

The problem is C drive in Win 7 is D drive in Win 8
And D drive in Win 7 is C Drive in Win 8

I have allotted only a less space to D drive of Win 7

So I am not able to install more than 10 softwares in Win 8

Now My question is I can swap the files in C and D drive in Win 8 but Will it work

    Will it understand that ?

    Guide me

I am using Win 8 more than Win 7

i dont think it really matters which is c or d or x
you could go to control panel\admin tools\disk management
try to allow more space from 1 drive to another, or use software to do it
or simply change the install path of the programs when installing them
in other words tell it d\ programs or vice versa

Post a Disk Management picture. Then we'll see what can be done.

Search Google for EASEUS Partition Master Free. Download it.
Resize the C: or D: through that software
Make sure that you are doing it with your default Operating System.
