Is my RAM faulty? Various BSOD

    Hi,

I have been experiencing a number of issues with my PC lately.

    Specs below:

    • Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
    • Intel 4670K Haswell CPU
    • Gigabyte Z87X-OC Motherboard
    • Corsair Memory Vengeance Low Profile Jet Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz Ram
    • Samsung EVO Pro SSD

Since I reinstalled windows several months ago, I was getting the odd BSOD, however it has become much more common, almost during every session.

I can no longer use my pc and sometimes It wont even boot before BSOD.

    I've had:

    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT ....04E
    • MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    • A PROBLEM DETECTED NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN
    • JRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    and something which mentioned drivers.

I believe this to be a problem with ram and not drivers as BSOD has got more frequent with no changes to system. Drivers are all up to date

I have run Windows Memory Diagnostics and it showed hardware problems were detected.
I could not find any WindowsMemoryDiagnostics-Results in Windows logs following the guide on this forum.
I've waited but still not there. It did finish uninterrupted.

I am currently running MemTest86 via usb but it could take a while.
Does all of the above indicate faulty hardware? Likely RAM?

i definitely got various BSOD that related to some driver issue but i have no idea how to determine which it is?
Does W7 save all memory dumps after every BSOD. i have seen people post "logs" on here and others have managed to determine the cause from it. Any way to do this?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    It could be RAM Related.

Cary on running memtest for 9 passes.

Aldo upload your DMP Files, from this link:

       Information
Before posting a BSOD thread, please read the instructions here: Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

If you need to add new information like the dump files, please make a new post in your initial BSOD thread. Please do not make an extra new thread.

Will do. I left it to run under its automatic default settings. Will it get to 9 passes under default settings or do I need to configure this?

i gather it will take a while!

    cheers

Hi, nice build by the way. Did you purchase the two sticks together as one set?
