    Which ports are USB 2.0?

On an older computer that has a mix of USB 2.0 and USB 1 ports, is there a way to tell which is which? I seem to remember reading once you could connect a device to a port and look in Device Manager in the Enhanced USB section to see it listed, but I can't remember how to do it. Thanks

I've done that but can't see how to tell which physical ports on the computer are the Enhanced ones.

You can download the Dell Inspiron 530S manual from here:
    Product Support | Dell US

The manual shows all USB ports are USB 2.0.

OK thanks for the info. I've tested the ports, they do all seem to have usb 2.0 speed. But isn't there a way to go into device manager and see, for instance, which port has the Western Digital external hard drive connected to it? Seems like I remember doing that years ago. Thanks

I don't know if this is the "Port info" you are looking for ?
I have a USB flash drive plugged in, and I can see this in Properties / Location information.

In the Device Manager, select View and then select Devices By Connection.
