    Button Power Conection MSI micro star ms 7027 Motherboard


    hi i am trying to instal an very old mother board in a Computer Case but when i hav everything connected
    i get nothing when pressing the powerbutton

    PS: sorry for my bad english i cant typ very well in this language

    The motherboard is all i know and that is MSI micro star ms 7027 Motherboard

    Okay i dont really know where to start as it could be a million things causing this.

    Firstly does the "very old" Motherboard work?

    Urm, lets start with the PSU does it work?

    Try it on a different computer?

    yes it very very old like vista old maybe older the motherboard must work it worked before i got it home from my cousin psu idk what that is
    (it must be hard to find the problem like you said sorry so i got another pc and builded it up and there i have another issue maybe you can look at that post?

    You built your own computers and you dont know what a psu is?

    Okay its the box with all the wires coming out of it, the power supply.

    What computer did the board come out of? Manufacturer, make and model # and what CPU is in it?

    This is going to be a dead end, thread sorry.

    You can try your psu and other components in another pc, to see if they work

    I think thats about all we can do, Watch a youtube video on building a computer... just to make sure you putting the leads in the right place.

    You could always upload a photo of the build and we will see if we can spot anything wrong.

    Sorry mate that is one heck of an old board and just for RAM you are going to pushing your luck finding any decent amount of RAM for it. It also might be quite pricey too. As for a CPU well now you are looking down the barrel I'm afraid I cannot find the exact details of the board but would ahazard a guess at it being an old 478 socket and really you are throwing good money away - sorry
