USB 3.0 A Male to...
I just built a workstation with a Gigabyte H81-D3. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back panel, but not USB 3.0 header on the motherboard. I'd like to install a Rosewill front panel, which has (amongst other ports) USB 3.0 with, of course, the cable that attaches to the motherboard USB 3.0 header.
I know I can get adapters to convert the 3.0 header cable to 2.0 USB header, but I don't think that would result in USB 3.0 (would it?).
I can also get this adapter that seems like it would work best. I'd have to get a few 12" USB male to femal extensions.
Or, I guess I could get a USB 3.0 hub.
What would be the best working solution for this problem (getting USB 3.0 from back panel to front panel)?
Thanks for any ideas.
