actually when lm at home l tend to leave the system on, usually away from it no longer than 6 hours depending on how bad my insomnia is, if l leave the house or prolonged bad weather is expected l will shut down but generally my main means of entertainment, learning and work is with my computer and considering how much l use it l think starting up and shutting down as much as ld need to if l did would put pointless stress on the hardware.

either way a memory dump located in this dir: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP seems to have grown quite large again for some reason, on that matter is there a way to read the file? that said l might not be able to make heads nor tails of it so lve just compressed the file (its about 110mb compressed) if l uploaded it somewhere could it give an idea as to what the issue with my ram is? or would it just be pointless.

appreciated, would definitely be interesting to find out if there is any correlation with the fact that such large logs have appeared. tho lm still confused at why lm using so much ram lol.

still like l said my computer is my entertainment system, and since l hate the crap on normal TV l download most of what l watch.. which l will add everything is unlicensed and unlikely to ever be released in this country meaning most of the stuff l watch is fansubbed and like l said my collection will blow most ppls minds lol. gotten into reading recently, tho l do have a small collection of visual novels from animes lve watched XD

No problem ... Always have the TV on but seldom watch much of it .. It has got worse over the years the problem seems to be to many Channels to many repeats .. Was better when there was only a few Channels

agreed, then again there are a few interesting programs tho its been a while since any of them have been shown, plus its too much trouble to get the aerial into my room, along with the fact the internet is much more entertaining lol.

A few years back i was going to get an Outside Aerial the guy came to Install it but would not put it on the roof .. He wanted to stick it on the back wall .. That would not have been much good be cause when the gutters needed cleaned it would be in the way ... So i went for cable no Aerial needed ..

thats the way to do it lol, only problem l have is we cant get cable round here otherwise ld have been on faster net ages ago.

been on fibre for threeish years now as we dont have any cable providers anywhere near us.. still despite the annoyance of the 2meg adsl+ lm glad that l finally lived in an area where l could get proper internet lol. l get 37meg down and 9meg up which suits me nicely especially considering my connection is rated at "up to" 40down 10up.

Yes your Speeds are pretty good .... I use to have Dial-up now that was really bad .. But did not have much other choice at that time .. Living in the sticks was surprised when they started to lay Cable ...
