ASUS k53e wireless not working (NO ERROR CODES)

    Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting here on sevenfourms and I am excited to be a new member. I will make this short and sweet.

    Asus k53e laptop running windows 7 x64

Was just recently restored due to virus corruption

Everything works great except when on wireless the internet does not load pages. It shows that it has full wireless signal but absolutely will not load any web pages.

The wireless driver on the computer is Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1030

There was some issues after restore where there was no Network adapters. I had to install drivers from Asus. I could have possibly installed the incorrect wireless driver, but I uninstalled and installed a few others with no luck.

Other than that I checked wireless card visually to see if placement or anything was wrong. Good

    Ran windows updates

Is there a BIOS update for this computer or does the wireless firmware need to updated?

Also, there is no RealTek drivers on the computer. Could this be an issue?

    Any help would be great,

    Thank you

You could search around for a Clean Install iso and burn it.

    Then reinstall drivers.

I will be off now, I will return tomorrow.

Ok so I did a clean restore. Everything worked great. Wifi was running fast. After 15 minutes it stopped working. Do you think the wifi card could be bad? If so do you have any suggestions for new ones? Maybe upgraded ones.
