Mouse sensitivity problem while playing any game
So i've bought a new asus computer, for gaming which is pretty much the only thing i use the computer for. The problem is that now whenever i'm playing my mouse sensitivity is completely different, which makes no sense, since the sensitivity is the same for everyone.
For exemple in Counter- Strike GO (i've tried a few fps games and the problem is the same in all of them)
With my old computer: 2.8 in game sensitivity / 400 cpi's/ 6/11 on windows
Now with new computer: 0.9 in game sensitivity / 450 cpi's / 6/11 on windows
The problem here is that i just don't feel that the sensitivity is working properly and after 1 month i still couldn't get used to it, it feels like i'm playing with accelaration and the sensitivity just isn't constant and for an fps it just doesn't work.... and since i take the game a bit seriously it's a bit annoying, because i just can't play like i used to.
Another exemple is that with 0.9 sens i'm able to do 180 degrees which i would do with something between 2.4/2.8 in my old computer, but if i go higher than 1.7/1.9 i'll do a complete 360 degrees, which is weird, because everyone that i know, that uses them same mouse dpi's and windows sensitivity plays with more than 2.0 sensitivity which is quite normal...
The computer came with windows 8.1, i've already installed windows 7, i've tried different mouses (zowie ec1, steelseries sensei raw, zowie fk1) and the problem is the same with all of them. Steelseries sensei has a drivers program as u may know, but zowie ec1/zowie fk1 doent, it's pretty much all about the buttons in the mouse, which you have 1 to change the dpi's and then the pooling rate can be changed when you plug-in the mouse by pressing mouse4 or mouse 5, depending on what you want. I've also tried markc mouse fix, i've read a lot of forums about mouse accelaration i've tried everything i've seen, and still couldn't fix it.
I've also tried to use rinput, but for some reason, my crosshair won't move... I've also tried to update the bios as some friends of mine told me to, but I couldn't... I did everything it even said that they were updated, i restarted the computer, then i couldn't boot with windows cause there was a message on the computer saying that bios aren't fully supporting the booting therefore i had to active the "CSM", at the end of all that, my bios version was still the same....
I would appreciate a fast reponse since this is totally getting on my nervers because it's been almost 3 months that've been using this computer and i'm just getting worse at a game that've been playing for 4 years... i've already tried asus support, and their answer as predicted is that the problem is with the mice not the computer, even tho i told them that i've tried differents mice and they worked perfectly fine in my old computer.... ASUS FTW
Computer Specs:
Asus G10AC:
processor - i7-4770 cpu @ 3.4ghz
ram - 16 go
os: windows 7 home premium 64 bits
graphic card: nividia gtx760
it also has an HDD and a SSD (120 something GB), I believe the SSD is from Samsung but i'm not entirely sure.
I'm not an expert on computers, pretty much all i know was by reading forums or watching tutorials on the internet to learn how to do it, and as i said I would appreciate fast reponses, only by the fact that i'm really pissed off, and honestly if I can't fix this I won't get a new computer anytime soon since i've paid around 1200€ for this computer and I can't afford a new one.
Cheers,
André Santos
