How much maximum GB RAM can M2N68-LA motherboard have?

Hi,
I am thinking about upgrading RAM on my HP p6221sc, from 4 GB to 8 GB. I am sensing lag when I play League of Legends or any other game and browse at the same time (generally doing mutiple things). I have checked on serveral forum treads, and some claim that this model is hardwired use only 4GB RAM, while other say that it is possible to upgrade to 8GB RAM. Please help me

These two sites claim that my computer model and motherboard can only have 8GB RAM:

Motherboard Specifications, M2N68-LA (Narra6) | HP®-støtte

Motherboard: M2N68-LA

Taken from the HP Specification page for the Narra 3 model.

Thanks for the reply =)

How can I see if it is Narra 6 or 3?
Underneath the model number it says "Rev: 6.01". That means I got Narra 6 and I can get upto 8GB RAM?

Can you download Speccy and run the program, then expand the Motherboard section and post a screenshot of the results. There's no way I can tell exactly which motherboard you have as it stands, hopefully Speccy will give us that information.

You're welcome. Just keep in mind it only supports DDR2 and check the frequencies for the the type of RAM you're buying.
