    Another Wacom tablet issue

or is it a Kaspersky issue? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!

My Wacom Intuos 2 tablet works fine, unless I try and use it with Kaspersky antivirus. The pen will not control the cursor within a Kaspersky box! I can move the cursor anywhere I like on the screen but as soon as it gets to the edge of a Kaspersky box - be it a pop-up one or the main control screen, it refuses to cross the line. It's almost as if there was a solid fence round the box! Weird.

I should probably send this to Kaspersky and Wacom but I wonder if anyone else has hit this issue?

I have the same issue, and was looking to see if there is a fix. Have you heard anything?

Found a fix on a post

Wisptis.exe (on Vista mit Systemlaufwerk C: "c:\windows\system32\wisptis.exe") has to be added to "Trusted" with "Do not monitor application activity" checked. No other files needed to be added for this work (so far). Thank you.

Will have a look at that, though I have some doubts about it as I have found the problem intermittent which doesn't fit with the logic of the suggestion. if that twas the issue the problem should be a consistent one. This morning for example, my PC started up and the tablet is working. Tomorrow it probably won't and I'll have to reinstall drivers.

    Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

    Doesn't work for me.

    I have
    Windows 7 64bit pro
    Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 Version: 9.0.0.736 ( a.b )
    Wacom Intuos with driver 614-3

In Windows explorer I can see the file under C:\Windows\System32\wisptis.exe

    However, in Kaspersky under:
Settings > Threats and exclusions > Exclusions "Settings" > Trusted Applications > Add > Browse >
    I cannot see the file.

Have tried *.* to see all files.

Even if I type the location directly "C:\Windows\System32\wisptis.exe" it says:
Windows Explorer "Windows can't find 'C:\Windows\System32\wisptis.exe'. Check the spelling and try again.

any ideas would be much appreciated!
