A serious problem with DVD RW drive

Hello guys. I have a problem with my new DVD RW. When I bought this DVD RW, I have a problem with my HDD and bluescreen error. Then I changed place of their SATA socket. Now the bluescreen error have solved but my DVD RW doesn't work! it works in boot and I have installed a new copy of Win 7 by it, but in windows it doesn't work and it's icon is in my computer page.
By the way, there is a CD-Rom icon in my computer window, although I haven't a CD-Rom.

It is in device manager list and written "work properly".

I had use PATA to SATA converter, but the problem persists.
it may depends on Firmware or not?

HDD have sets on "IDE channel master 2" and DVD RW have sets on "IDE channel master 3" in boot. I put two pictures from my main board:

I need your guides. Please write your suggestions as soon as possible.
Thanks a lot.

Before connecting the SATA/Pata converter did you remove the jumper that assigns the Master/Slave/CS function to the DVD drive. Also if your hard drive is connected to SATA and the DVD drive is originally a PATA one try to use an IDE cable to connect it direct to the IDE connector (The green one) on your motherboard and assign it as a master instead of using the converter

NO NO. My DVD RW drive originally is a SATA drive. But I thought maybe my motherboard's sata socket is broken! for that I used SATA to IDE converter.
The problem persists.

Remove the converter so it's connected as SATA and in Device Manager right click the entry for your DVD drive uninstall it and restart windows and see if that might help as it will force Windows to reinstall it.

I found the answer! the problem was with my Power Supply. I removed additional lamps to have more power. DVD RW has no problem now, Because of enough Watts!
Thank you all.
