    enclosure shows only a lone file when opened

    Hi seven forum,
    I have a couple of drives to scarf data from and bought a iomagic enclosure last week.
    I have used autorun in my xp lenovo it engaged and grabbed the 8g fine.
    The newer drive, from a lap with xp shows only a text file "ImageIt4Err" that when opened shows 1 line
    only as follows,, "CreateFile(),File:.\it41.cpp,Line:601"
    I have properties listed as significant, but this is the only thing read! any thoughts appreciated.

    Hi buginmyear,

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

    Looks like I have a buginmyeyes and additionally a buginmybrains.:)

    You copied 8GB of data to drive 1 in your enclosure from PC 1.

    Now when you connect that drive 1 in your enclosure to PC 2, you see only some nonsensical file instead of that sensical 8GB of data copied.

    Is that what you mean?

    LOL I see! and apologize for the bugs or lack of clarity, I failed to mention I have 2 target notebooks, 1 in XP and the second is of course windows 7, this is where the file "ImageIt4Err" that when opened shows 1 line
    only as follows,, "CreateFile(),File:.\it41.cpp,Line:601" which became evident in the win7 box.
    I have found some indications this file maybe some type of partition key but have need to get a better understanding how to solve the issue. Any thoughts gladly taken for consideration>
