Windows 7 Asks To Format Ext Drive Won't See Folders
Hello All. I am in the process of transfering data. The SATA hard drives are coming off a Dell I had setup as Raid strip with XP on it. My new computer has an expansion bay for sata drives. When I connect the drive windows 7 will see it but tells me the drive needs to be formatted. I get the same error if I connect it using a USB adapter. Rebooting doesn't help. I have a lot of data that I need transfered. The data is still there. I connected it back to the dell and it boots fine. They were formatted NTSF. Is there some utility in windows I can use to let windows see this drive(s). XP had this feature using Computer Management. Thanks for any input.
